i am looking for a good magnifying setup with light on an adjustable swing type arm like i have seen fly fishermen use to tie their own flies ,i think that may help my tired (67 yr old) eyes with seeing fine lines when checkering stocks. thank you in advance for any help.. ross

Ross, Try Harbor Freight, they have an inexpensive one. Their website is www.harborfreight.com. I have one at my lathe and it is okay. The one I have for checkering is a more expensive one but I don't recall where I got it.

ross you might want to look into a device called Optivisor if you google Optivisor you will get a hole list of websites to look them over. This is what I used to use for Fly Tying I found it easier than being tied to one place.
