    1. Install an adjustable comb
    2. Install a moveable butt plate
    3. Bend the stock (using heat and/or oil)
    4. Make a new stock

Ted has 4 out of 5 the last one is to re inlet and change the angle of inletting to accommodate a bit more offset. This seems to work on certain guns quite well.

Bending should never be attempted with an O/U or most other guns with through bolts you will eventually crack the stock from changing the pressure on the inletting with the draw bolt.

A better question would be why are you looking to change the cast.

Are you looking to place the recoil pad in your pocket better or for alignment with the barrel?

If you do not want to cut the stock, move the beads. Just kidding. LOL. Jon

I need a bunch of cast, so I Had phillip enlet my stock (K80) that got me 3/8 of an inch, then I moved my comb over to the limit, next I had a soft comb made and had the hardware off set about 1/8 of an inch. I also have an adjustable butt plate (not sure if that helps cast) I shoot the gun well but if I had a do over I would go with a P.F.S. or custom stock.

Stl flyn is laughing but an M1A sets horizontal zero with the front sight. Do you have to hold to the right of targets to get good breaks? You likely need more cast off. A cheater way to get the shot to move right is get your front bead left. It takes very little to get some effect. This will not work if you don't use the bead to direct the shot. I will be first to admit that stock work/fitting is better.
