Anyone know how to bend a stock? I've heard about it, but have no idea how or who does it. Thanks. William

Put the barrel and action on some books weighed down with a few bags of shot. Put another bag of shot on the hanging stock. Apply heat lamp to handle part of stock. Check it every day. Pretty simple. Jake

Bubba, We made a jig to hold the stock and had a pressure point where we wanted it to bend. Soaked a shop rag with mineral oil laid it over the bending area. Set up two brooder lamps about 9 to 11" apart and bent it at least an inch more then we needed. Took about a half hour and it turned out perfect. Hullchucker
