that is pure gun porn! I have a 31 with an English stock, God I love that gun; it is gorgeous! Afraid to shoot it much for fear of breaking it, parts are scarce. It is a backup though, always in the truck and always on an upland bird hunt.

Not much to worry about with a 31. There is not much to break or wear out in a lifetime of shooting. Parts other than barrels and stocks are generally available anyway.

Bruce, I owned it twice and sold it like a fool. The only worry on a 31 is the trigger. If it breaks, not many people left alive today know how to work on it. This one has the better trigger, all steel without the tang

I hope you find the gun Lou!! The problem with finding such guns is people will buy one and then squirrel it away in a safe with hardly anyone else ever seeing it!

Have you backtracked from the person you sold it to last? Etc.etc?? Hap
