We have to start using steel at our club,(ham lake, minnesota). I have a remington overbored step rib trab barrel with choke tubes. Tubes are standard tubes that are marked different because of the overbore. Full choke tube looks the same as a regular modified tube. What would be the proper tube to use with steel shot? I asked remington and they said to use a regular modified tube. I don't think they took in to account that my barrel has an overbore. Anybody got an answer? Thanks, John

Start with the Modified and pattern the gun. If the chokes are steel compatible, move up a constriction and re-pattern the gun until your satisfied. Every gun is different, figure out what's right for yours.
