Remember the days when we would look forward to watching the state of the union address. I am getting ready to head to bed early because the pres is going to be on tv. I remember when my family would gather around the tv and watch the president give his speach. I think most everyone did the same but now there is no way you could pay me to watch. What has happened. Has our leaders become this big of a a joke?

Maybe it is you- ever think of that? It doesn't matter what is said or not said- if you don't listen to it yourself you don't care and you are willing to give your opinion up on other people that did hear it

    Maybe you should become involved--

Maybe your family was but for some reason you just didn't get that work ethic and stick to what other people tell you

    Regards from Iowa

More like state of confusion. More talk about investments (taxes). Education etc, etc. Actions speak louder than words!

Its your type of participation in politics that lets the Democrats gain power. Setting back and doing nothing only empowers the opposition. If all the Republicans had voted in the last election look how different it would have turned out.

We still need more and more participation between now and the midterm elections!!!

Oh yah, and we need to save jobs for teachers, firemen, and policeman. (public employees).

My family and I are watching the Westminster Dog Show. It is alot more informative, and interesting to watch than the state of the regime show.

He wants everyone to be able to send their kid to pre-school. I guess that's where the additional teacher jobs come from.

Damn, forgot one thing.....who pays for it? Just a little detail. Don't we have a little deficit issue?

And everyone should be able to get a first home loan. Isn't that what got us in trouble in 2008?

What a joke. Can't believe he says this stuff with a straight face.

Why watch it, for the next 5 days the talk shows will tell us what he didn't say, what he meant to say, verses WHAT WE heard him say!!

Then they tell how great he is!!

I did have to stand up and clap to the TV at the end of Rubio's rebuttal speech.

In my opinion the downfall started right after welfare was started in this country. There has been no incentive for the lazy person to have to work for food or a roof over their heads. Everything else has followed.

    TF,

Gabby's old man has been sucking on the government teat for a career also.

So they can shove their ideals up their a**es. Until they fix the social problems in this country they cant fix anything else. Just look at Detroit before 1964 nad since 1964 and democratic rule. Clue; It aint pretty!
