    St Charles(Elburn,Il) where

I shot the Sept. 23 Fall Handicap at St. Charles Sportsmens Club, hit the Lewis twice for about $180.00 and haven't seen a check yet. Spoke w/ Laura Lundgren their shoot manager at the Peoria shoot this past weekend and was told "she wasn't responsible" for payouts. Seems like a pretty sloppy way to treat the shooters. They need to remember this is the SHOOTERS MONEY. 2-1/2 weeks is plenty long enough to get payouts made.

Checks from SCSC used to arrive at the end of the week after a shoot. 2 1/2 weeks is way too long.

There has been a noticeable decline in many areas since Barry's departure.

Gloves are off. I'm sure this will be blamed on "The Digital Wizard "

Regardless of whether you have your gloves on, here are answers to your questions.

    • Laura ran the shoot for the club, but Barry (as club Treasurer) is responsible for doing any payouts. That is per the club’s by-laws.
    • I just had a conversation and Laura gave all of the payout information to Barry on October 1st.

If you have any questions as to when the checks will be sent out I’m sure he would be happy to answer. He can be reached at webmaster@scsconline.org.

I’m sure either of them would welcome any help that would speed this process up.

Only trying to get the SHOOTER'S money returned to the SHOOTERS. If they don't have the organization to promptly carry out the payout they shouldn't schedule a shoot.

    A. PAYMENTS AND OVERPAYMENTS
Any club, which conducts a registered event and/or tournament, should
make payment of all added money, purses, options, and other monies
to the shooters as promptly as possible. Failure to do so within fifteen
    (15) days may result in the cancellation of registration privileges of that
club for the remainder of the year.<br>
The rulebook is pretty clear, if someone is disgusted enough to file a complaint.

I have e-mailed them at webmaster@scsconline.org and hope to resolve this matter. We will have to see where this goes, because I am willing to file a complaint if necessary.

Thanks for the offer Gary, but I feel it's best if the problem is resolved thru the proper channels. There are others (at least 3 that I know of) who are expecting checks.

    I received a e-mail from Barry Bourdage:

"All payments were mailed on Monday.
The shoot manager has not supplied all of the necessary documents for the payouts' you will have to contact her for the detail.
We are still waiting for info on the July shoot, don't hold your breath."

Doesn't sound like all is well at St. Charles.

    Thanks Barry.

Received my check Sat. Hand written, no details about scores that paid or other option payouts. Thanks again to Barry Bourdage for reconciling this problem.
I long for the good old days when everybody who played any option received a full pay out sheet, winner or not.
