1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Sold Pending FundsPictures tell the story. Like new with box and factory paperwork VSSF II in 220 Swift. 26"bbl HS Precision Stock w/ palmswell. I can't find a mark on the stock anywhere, no marks on the metal- overall hard to tell from new.

This rifle was sent to RW Hart and the their accuracy package done to before a shot was fired. This work involved skim bedding the action, hand lapping the bore, recutting the crown, lapping the lugs and adjusting the trigger, and mounting/shimming/lapping the Hart one piece rings. While it was there, the fire control also was radiused and the bolt handle drilled for a semi-custom look. The barrel was also treated with a snakeskin pattern. Total bill for all of the parts and labor was around $400.

Round count on this gun including Speedy's break in stands at 50. I haven't had a chance to finish load development yet. I was shooting Sierra SMK's out of it and it the rifle has a few ground hog head shots on its record. Barrel was never shot hot.

I need to move this one along quick and am willing to take a hit on it. I'm putting it up for $1100 shipped. I can send more pictures or answer any other questions. PM me if interested. Bipod is included.

Are those 1" or 30mm rings, and what ounces or pounds is the trigger pull?

That is one good looking gun. The .220 Swift is a throughbred, a purebred round imo designed to do one thing especially well: Make a .224 bullet really haul ass! I have a Savage in that caliber, a single shot varminter, and let me tell you....This is also a sweet bargain; rings and what looks like a Harris bi-pod also sweeten the deal. If I only needed another .220..

    Again,

    Good luck on your sale.

The rings are 30mm and the pull is around 2.5-3#, I never put a trigger scale on it. It could definitely be lightened some more for this one.

Scope wise, I originally had a VX-III 4.5-14*40 in it with lots of room. A 50mm obj should fit fine.

I'm only moving this one to get a 40X. I took a look in the safe and it is too crowded.

Somebody is going to get a power deal on this one.
