1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Gun is now sold pending receipt of funds. Selling another of my best friend's gun collection for his widow. This particular gun is a wonderful Merkel model 1622EL in 16 gauge. These guns were imported into this country in 2006 and 2007. There are many special things about this gun but the thing that really sets it apart is it being a 16 gauge gun built on a 20 gauge frame. This gives you all the advantages of the 16 gauge in a gun that actually weighs less than a 20 gauge. This gun weighs in at exactly 6 pounds with it's 28 inch barrels which are choked improved cylinder and modified. These guns are built on the Anson and Deeley box lock action and have the side plates which allow master engraver Silke Henke to do the wonderful game scenes that you see in the attached photos. Gun also has Greener style crossbolt lockup with cocking indicators, ejectors, and auto safety. Also has double triggers (the way a double gun should be) splinter forend. This gun has the Luxury grade Turkish Walnut and as you can see the wood is very unique. with dark marbling throughout. Gun has a straight grip with the wonderful feeling diamond grip through the wrist, and stock dimensions of 1 5/8 X 2 5/8 X 14 1/2 over the Merkel butt plate. This gun comes to you unfired in the original box, with the original papers. There are a few light impressions in the wood from being stored in my friend's safe but gun is unfired. Finish on the gun is hand rubbed oil so any impressions could be easily removed. Blue book price on this gun in 98% condition is $9100. This gun is easily 98% and probably closer to 99% and I'm offering it for $6800 shipped to your FFL. As always there is a 3 day inspection period with the buyer paying all shipping charges if returned. Please contact me at esetter5@me.com with any questions you might have on this beautiful upland gun.
