1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    For sale of trade.

A TC Contender frame that was coated and a trigger job done by SSK Industries.

The coating is "Metalife" at least that is what I was told by SSK. That's what they used back in the early 80's.

Also has Pachmyer grips and forearm for 14 inch barrels.

Asking $425 shipped to your FFL.

Or trade for a tuned SS Encore frame.

    PM me if your interested.

Might be selling just the frame and fore end but he has it pictured with a barrel. He says one thing and shows something else. Hmmmm, what do you think?

The barrel was sold and I didn't take more pictures.

The SSK Coating and trigger work will run you around $250 plus now and the Pachmyers will cost you another $60.

$425 for the whole gun would have been a steal and a half!

It was a 6.5 JDJ. Built by SSK Industries.

I have another just like it in 375 JDJ. Not for Sale!

    Thanks

timberfaller--You never get your money back out of the extras we add to our guns. Thats the unfortunate truth. That said you have a very nice T/C frame there. I have a blued model with several barrels myself. These things are very accurate and versatile pistols and rifles. For those that don't know, you can purchase a butt stock and longer barrel and then you have a rifle all from the same frame. Very fun gun.

grntitan, very true most of the time. The only exception would be upgrade wood. Seems like good wood always commands a premium.

I buy performance mods etc for my own satisfaction and figure I got my money out of them by enjoyment.

This is my "extra" stuff. Sold the barrel and scope and dies, the frame is whats left.

Have its twin thats not for sale. 375 JDJ.

Someone is going to get a Frame that going to impress them. If they know anything about what SSK does to these frames.

Switching over to Encore's. Sold most of my bolt actions rifles and replaced with some nice TC stuff!!
