1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Selling a like new mid-1990's Browning A-bolt Medallion in .308 caliber with a Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8x36mm scope. Will include a set of Uncle Mikes Scope Covers and the leather sling. I'm the original owner and the rifle has only been to the range once to fire a total of 4 rounds for sighting in.
This safe queen has never been out in the field or to the range otherwise. The rifle has a walnut stock with a rosewood tip on the forend and base of grip. Blued receiver and barrel with engraving on receiver, trigger plate, and magazine door as shown in the pictures.
I'm selling it because my county is "shotgun and bow only" and never got around to traveling further north for deer season - as well as the proceeds from the sale would help fund some new trapshooting goodies.

Price is: $890 + actual shipping from my FFL to your FFL.
Still have all of the original boxes and manuals.
Please PM with any questions. Chris

I received a few PMs for more specifics regarding the rifle:

Weight without scope is 6lbs 7oz.
Detachable box magazine clips into the hinged floorplate.
Barrel is free floating, glass bedded at the recoil lug.
Screw adjustable trigger pull set to approximately 4 lbs at factory.
Nice 60 degree short bolt throw.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

I would love to trade my BT-100 for that rifle... If you could throw in some cash or a little more trade value. -Aaron Schneider

    Aaron,
Thank you for the offer; but at this time I would like to sell the rifle
and scope outright rather than consider a trade.

I am open to selling the rifle separately from the scope
if there is interest in the rifle alone for $650 plus actual
    shipping to you FFL.

By the way, I always hear great things regarding the BT100.
I shoot sporting as much as trap though, so I'm trying to
build up some funds for an O/U rather than a SBT.

I got a PM from a fella last night regarding the models within the A-bolt line at the time my rifle was manufactured, so I figured that I'd post the info here as well.

The "Medallion" was the top level model (higher than the plainer Hunter model)
available in all calibers, with the exception of the 7mm Rem Mag (Long Action Mag) and 270Win & 30.06 Springfield (Long action standard) which also came in a Gold Medallion model.
A complete chart from the Browning Catalog is attached for reference.
Yes, I still have the original catalog :)

Also, for price comparision a new A-bolt Medallion runs $1099 to $1149 without a scope, base, rings.

My rifle is the standard length Medallion rifle not the Micro Medallion.
For your reference (from the Browning catalog) the Micro is only 5/16" shorter LOP and 6 oz. lighter.
