You will see Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins do the same. Once Franken gets approved in Minnesota the Dem's will have complete control over the country. Thanks to all the voters for this mess that is headed for disaster. Ed

I would like to see the party purged of all RINO's. When the Democrats succeed in destroying this country, which they will, the stupid American voters will need a real alternative, not another liberal socialist party to take the place of the Democrats. There is no way these Democrats can create a lasting prosperity by trying to spend our way out of the financial mess we are in. IT CAN'T WORK. Screw the Northeast. They are gone. A majority of Americans right now are insane. We have to hold on and hope there is a country left when they are finished.

This was a self presevation move. He could never beat Toomey. 79 years old and completely out of touch.

Pa guys, defeat this rat if you never do anything else. He has been one of the worst RINO's in the country.

Look at it this way a real conservative candidate may want the republican nomination.

The way I prefer to look at it is maybe he'll get run over on the runway at his buddy Murtha's airport......you know the one we all paid for at least twice.

    Thieving bastards.

Unfortunately if he lives long enough the brainless entitlement class trash will probably vote him in again.

highflyer, keep in mind that New Hampshire is in the Northeast and we haven't completely been taken over by Taxachewsit. They are trying hard, but meeting a lot of resistance. Besides, we are the only state that has had someone with the balls to tell Obama to kiss off. Don

I voted against Pat Toomey last primary and joined Pats team last week. If it was anybody else who announced they would run against Spector he would have stayed in the closet. Toomey narrowly lost to him last election and Spector knows he is a loser by not switching parties.

New Hampshire, like all the states in the Northeast, went for Obama as did the West Coast, most of the Midwest, Florida and New Mexico and Colorado. It is true that the red and blue map is being taken over by the blue. The red shrinks each election as more and more of the country joins the ranks of those with their hands out to the federal government. I don't think it will end until we are completely, hopelessly broke.

The real question is why is the republican party losing all power? Who speaks for them? What is their agenda? How are they going to get back in the game?

America needs a strong republican party. How are we going to get one?

    "Losing all power", think again.

Mash on the link, from the most accurate pollster in the nation.

"Republicans Top Democrats on Generic Congressional Ballot"

There is trouble brewing for the spendocrats, big time.

Good riddance, Spector. You were no Republican anyway.

Spector criticized the Republican party for moving to the right. Where does he come up with this? Seems to me both parties are moving leftward.
