Ask someone who might know. This site is not the place to find someone who might know.

The Grand produced about $98,000 in target fees for the State this year. If the cost to build the facility was $50 million - another rumor - the State isn't getting much of a return on their investment.

Illinois, like many States is billions of dollars in the hole this year but the 10 year lease signed by the ATA for the Grand specified the $3/hundred. At least that was the story at the time.

(Springfield) -- Illinois is looking at a budget deficit of at least $11 billion dollars.

Two weeks ago, lawmakers approved a bare-bones budget that doesn't come close to covering expenses. But, they haven't sent it to the Governor's desk yet.

The spending plan doesn't specify where to make cuts that are necessary to balance income and expenses.

Governor Quinn and legislative leaders are meeting once a week to discuss the situation. But, there have been no real signs of progress.

"I think the question I ask ,is more directed for ATA member next to me on the line, shooting a BT99...870...391...682..reloading 5-10 times...I would think that person is important to the Sparta program..."

Boy howdy you just might have a point there but whether you do or you don't you need to remember one little detail.

The ATA doesn't own the WSRC the State Of Illinois does and is controlled by IDNR. So I would suggest that before you start blaming the ATA you confirm the source of the rumor and put the blame where it belongs. Not where you think it belongs. If your assumption that this rumor is law and you are incorrect. Your credibility as a reliable contributor to this site will b e so poor that you won't be able convince sewer workers that DO DO stinks.

Ken, I mean Inkduster why do you not post too often? How in the world did the info about the increase in price get all the way to Florida this fast?

Why does anyone think the ATA monitors this forum? Why in the heck would they want to? You would think no one would shoot ATA if you believed half the crap said on here.

    frank c Thorazine I think.

Paul in Min, same here, didn't get to go this year but even if ink is right it wouldn't stop me from going, if my budget for the trip is that tight I better not be going in the first place.

Can't we put some trust in the people who run the ATA for us instead of believing every bad rumor and just thinking the worst in general?
