I'd like to give a big thanks to the folks at Spanish Fork Gun Club.
Even with the adverse weather conditions we dealt with today, it was a great time.

I am feeling like I got mauled by a bear, but even at that it was fun.

If you haven't ever shot the 1000 dubs, its something you need to try at least once.

I only made it to 400 doubles last year, but this year is was the full 1000! Pretty long day and the workers get a lot of credit for hanging in there with us nuts that'll shoot in all kinds of weather. Thanks to all the folks at Spanish Fork Gun Club for making this an annual event. Now for a very HOT shower!

If I remember, I think we started out with 7 squads? But, after 600 there was one full squad of 5 and two squads of 3 each that made it to the end. So, that makes 11 that made the full 1000.

3 or 4 years ago I did a 500 target doubles marathon and I thought that was crazy! Must be some brave ones out there.

Jacob, I am not sure brave is the word for it...
I am still feeling it 2 days later, but it was a great time.

In fact, next year is just far enough out to allow me to forget the aches and do it all over again.

Once you get past 600, the rest is gravy!
