What kind of spacers does everyone use for their adjustable combs on their guns and where can I get some?

I use very thin brass washers..I think they are only a 32nd" thick so it allows really fine adjustment...no need for any on my Guerini

You can go to the local Lowes, Home Depot, True Value, plumbing supply, or just about any place else they sell hardware and get an assortment second to none for less than $5.00 ... They even have an assorment of colors if your little heart wants out of the normal, such as black, white, silver, gold, green, yellow, purple, chartruse, at no additional cost ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Years ago, I bought a piece of 1/2" or so PVC pipe. After finding my preferred comb height with washers, I cut two pieces of pipe to that length, painted them black and use them. That way, if I raise my comb for handicap, the added washer makes noticing the wrong comb position for 16 yards easy even for me.

Those were painted using the only black paint I had on hand at the time, which was metallic black. It makes the spacers appear to be dusty but they really aren't that dirty.

I like that idea, Ed, use different colored washers for different yardage. Like brass for caps and silver or white plastic for singles and doubles. Nice.

Ace/TrueValue will have ones w/ 3/8" ID. 1/16" in black and 1/32" in opaque clear. They are pretty cheap.
