The Southern Zone sites will also be using the shootatazone.com website developed by David Van Elgort to upload and compile their scores, rather than the fax method that has been used for the past few years.

Although I encourage everyone to get out and shoot, if you can't be there you will still by able to follow the action on-line.

Folks at the shoot who have smartphones or web-enabled phones or laptops will also be able to look on the website for updates.

Each club site may also run a scrolling leaderboard provided they have a computer that they can dedicate to that purpose.

Machines will be cleaned and checked, left/right and height will be verified before the shoot. Those are likely still good to go from the State and SCTP.

Speed will be certified each morning. Standard operating procedure.

Don't sweat it. Great targets, great folks, and great shooting.

Target setting Needs to be confirmed by State ATA Delegate. This is a ZONE SHOOT! We don,t need what we shot at Music City Open!!!! Who ever called their selfs setting those targets. YOU DON,T GO BY MARKING ON EACH TRAP MACHINE WHICH WAS BEING DONE THEN!!!!~!

Instead of complaining, you might come to the club and help with servicing the machines. Maybe you will like what you see.

Music City had wind gusts that turned over a 300 pound sign. Hard to have good targets in those conditions.

A TSTA Director will be overseeing the machine service/setting/repair during this shoot, as in the AIM, State, and SCTP Championships. For more info, come to the shoot!

Coach--- Just been cutting up with you! I and all the rest of the shooters appreciate the work you do at these shoots. If people like you didn,t do it-- it would NOT get done. Thanks again Jimmy (I will see you next week)

    Dear Jimmy

No problem. We take our role in bringing back the trap game at Nashville VERY SERIOUSLY.

Ray Hutcheson, our Trap VP, has been asked by the TSTA to direct the big shoots at Nashville. He does a professional job, at a volunteer's wages. A former Intl' shooter, he is TOTALLY dedicated to us and the next generation of shooters and champions.

I am honored to play a small part in this noble effort.

We will be at the club Monday to start getting machines ready for the Zone. There are a few pieces and parts to order and install, several things to clean and lube, and adjustments to check and verify.

You have our personal guarantee of the best targets we can throw.

BTW, the witness marks at the Music City Open were for the (brand) new help. Our regular folks bailed at the eleventh hour, and we had to run with a group of college football players.

I like witness marks. The loaders may well forget where the machine was set while rushing to load it. If shoot management calls it, the loaders can be told plus one, minus one, etc. You know the drill. If shoot management does NOT call it, the machines MUST go back to the height where they were certified. Left and right will be verified before this important event. NO MORE WORMBURNERS AT NASHVILLE!!!

I know we had some teething issues with our football kids, but we worked them to death at the SCTP Championships, and they are no longer virgins to a big shoot. They will be there to work their behind off for us again.

They actually LIKE this kind of work. So do we!

    See you at the shoot.
