Damn Trolls! :) That's one BIG fish! What did they use for bait? 7 1/2's or 8's?

    Quack!

Okay, yah that's is one hell of a giant fish. Question is, WTF does a 1,000 pound, 11 foot long fresh water fish eat?

We use 20 inch long 2 1/2 pound shad to catch them here in Oregon. what is a amazing is that even a giant will often just tick the end of the rod like a tiny fish. We stll havemany of the Giants left but we have not been allowed to kill fish like that one in over 20 years. The giants are not only old but they carry an amazing amount of eggs which brings up a big ethical question as to weather or not these giants should be targeted during the spawning season. They are often released to die after the lengthy battles it takes to land them. Jeff
