I'm picking up a Beretta 302 this weekend (under $300 and supposedly in good shape). It has the 30" full choke (fixed) bbl. I can see sources for slug barrels for it on line, but nobody seems to list something like a 26 or 28" bbl (preferably with Beretta's interchangeable choke system--I intend to get a 390/391 to replace one I use to have and an O/U, and it is nice to stick with the same chokes for all of them).

Does anyone know of a source for barrels?

I'm not yet in the market (since I don't have the shotgun in hand yet, and want to try it first--which may be a while), but would appreciate a pointer towards somewhere that might have some.

    Thanks!!

Sorry, it is 12 ga. (and I do like bbls that will take 2 3/4" and 3"--not because I ever used much 3" shells, but in case I don't pay attention to what I pull out of the ammo stash and get to a range with the wrong stuff...).

    Thanks!!

Barrels for them are hard to find and very expensive when you do find them. A deal could be had from time to time on E-bay but once that site closed down to selling gun parts the ones that are left are pretty pricey. Check Gunbroker, com and auction arm. Good luck! Jeff

Where have you seen the slug barrels for a 302/303? I am looking for a slug barrel... Rifled or smoothbore?.... Tks.

I did a search. I think Numrich (Gun Parts Corp) and another place came up on the Slug bbls. Not sure if they were rifled or smoothbore.

I'll keep an eye on ads than if it is difficult to find them....as infrequently as I get out to shoot, it won't be a big deal to keep watching for a while.

There is also a Browning barrel which is supposed to fit. I'm not sure of the model number, may be a B80. Someone may correct me.

In looking, several of the places referenced the Browning B80 and A303 bbls as the same ("a Beretta marked Browning barrel" was a common term).

I know a guy that has a couple of every 303 configuration ever made. Three of most configurations. He (I) is not selling anytime soon though. They are like gold in the longer 30" and 32" models. I am still shooting the 303 for sporting and the 302 for hunting. They are what most consider the best Beretta auto ever built.

The B80 barrel will work on a 303 but the screw in chokes are different. The B80 is Browning invector the 303 is Beretta Mobile. I have a B80 barrel with Cutts for skeet available if anyone is interested. PM me or email alpsoupxx at yahoo, drop the xx. I may have more 303 barrels and stuff available at the right price.
