Today, at a gun club about half way between Johannesburg and Pretoria, I shot 100 ATA trap targets just for fun...in sunny, mid-80 degree temperatures and a light breeze.

I'm sure my friends back in Kansas are loving their sub-freezing weather.

Just had to rub it in a little.

Broke 97 with those 24 gram 1350 fps international loads that can't possibly be suitable for American trap, by the way.

It is sunny and around 40 here in western Pa, but supposed to go into the dumper tomorrow and next week. 30-50 mph winds and temps in the low teens. They are calling for over 2 feet of snow near Lake Erie by Wednesday.

Had a great day here in Tallahassee today, light variable winds high right at 70, was cool to start with but everyone was in short sleeves by the end of the shoot, going to get cold next week though, Break em all,

It's around 45 and rainy drizzle here in Nashville.

The weather is expect to plunge 20 degrees and snow a couple of inches so the locals are already going into a panic and bending fenders...

It's not safe to drive on the roads here with even a light winter mix.

    God Bless & Merry Christmas

I've hardly been outside at all. Have had a serious lung infection for a month.

It's raining in buckets right now anyway. We have what's called a Pineapple Express, a storm coming in from Hawaii bringing moderate temperatures along with a monsoon. I wonder what heavy rain does to shot patterns and clays?

Why did you waste your time shooting ATA when there was a bunker available?

Weather today in the Great White North - St. Cloud, Minnesota

1 foot of snow, 15 degrees and about 25 to 30 mph wind the entire day. Suppose to be sunny and 1 degree tomorrow.

Bet you all wish you were here!!!

Hi Tim, right now 17 in your old stomping grounds with 30 - 50 mph wind gusts. Was out at Powder Creek Thursday and even though it was in high 30s, wind was really kicking up. Hope things are well in sunny ol' So. Africa...look out for wild game. Regards, Ed

timb99, how you going to do any sledding or sking in that kind of weather??

Kinda hard to keep the beer cold in that weather too, isn't it? I just leave mine on the back porch. I'm drinking a cold Bud Light courtesy of Mother nature.

December weather sure beats the hell of July and August weather any day, no sweating, skitters, chiggers, snakes, and the beer is always cold. What more could a guy want? And you moved to S Africa for what?? Now I see why you're sorry. LOL

Hey WPT, the snow was real and there is plenty more coming on Sunday. I'm not sure if we had any guests from Kentucky here today.
