A friend of mine had a tool made to help clean the gas cylinder on the Beretta 391's and up. It is very well made and functional, plus it really works. I used it on Snapshot's 391 after I thought I had done a good job cleaning the gas cylinder and from the picture you can see what I missed before I used it. If you are interested in one he sells them for $30 includes shipping. Here's what it does and how it looks.

Does he make one for a 20 gauge 391?

    Thanks,

You can PM me your name and phone # and I'll give that to him or I have an extra one I can send you. He may have some at the Missouri State Shoot, but I'll have to find out for sure. He had these made and I don't know how many he had made. John

OK, I've gotten several inquiries on this tool. The friend who had these made is a gunsmith and you can contact him for one. His name is Dean Harris and his Email is cemoto@intellex.com. I think it is extremely well made and does the job. He was telling me about it and I got him to make one for me and told him I'm sure others would like the way it works, so he had some others made.

He said if there was enough interest for 20 guage, he would try to get some of those made. I want to buy another one that will fit my 390, he hasn't made that one either.....I sure hope he does. Thanks to all that PM'ed me and I hope I answered all of them. Biff

I just ordered one. I hope it is small enough to also clean the piston.

Shady Creek: Yes he did. I'm sending you a PM with his address. You could really just send him a check like I did. He said he's got plenty in stock.

Dean sent me several of the 391 Beretta cleaners and will take them to some of the shoots where I will attend. I will be at the Buckeye this week, look me up if you want one.... I have white hair with a pony tail and shoot the best looking Ljutic there! John Payne

    John,

Send me a PM with your email and we'll come up and shoot with you sometime!

    TNCoach

P.S. The cleaners are fantastic and show no wear after 6 months of frequent use. And everyone will want to borrow it...so buy an extra to sell.

Dick, Now, Now, Now! Have you no joy, tis the season to be jolly! You must not own a 391, possibly a Ljutic that you can't wear out, I've worked hard for 3 years trying to wear mine out!

Tn Coach is right, they work and you'll never wear one out, nothing in it for me, a friend designed and gets em made....Brownells will be selling them! They sure beat a steak knife, which is what I used on Snapshots 391 and thought I had it clean till I ran that cleaner through it!(see the picture)

John, It would be great to shoot with you again, I've put my Ljutic into hibernation for the winter and plan to wake it up about late March! Those nasty Vols tore Ky Wildcats up again for the 25 straight time! Biff
