    Cool. Where were you hunting?

What kind of SxS you got there? I occasionally hunt with a Savage/Stevens 311B.

I'm going to Western Kansas Thursday. I called the landowner and he is picking milo all week.

Weather will be cooler than opening day. Mid 20's in the morning, to 50's in the afternoon.

Gonna try out a shotgun I won at a Pheasants Forever banquet in February.

    Looking forward to it.

I bird hunt east of Cheyenne on a pals ranch that happens to be next to a private pheasant/hunt farm.
Thats my ol trusty Ithaca 100 SxS...love that shotgun for upland hunts.
Weather was in the high 40s with very little wind, no dog, but wished I had one as I lost one in the tall grass after it went down........darn it!

Nice SKB 100. I have hunted grouse here in SW PA. with their 20 ga. model choked IC & mod. for almost 20 years. Nice guns for the money.
