My kid (Trapper)broke a 98 in the Grand American Handicap. He does not shoot much and shot his first handicpap target for the year on Thursday. Sure wish he could have qualified for a trophy since he had the high Subjunior score that I am aware of. Still a pretty good score and I was one proud dad.

    If it ain't broken don't fix it.......NOT.

Wake up ATA and smell the roses.........

I have been on the sidelines since 2003 because of this stuff.

It's like the Congress...vote a raise, turn out the lights and cameras and take a 6 week vacation.

If Mr. Kiner can't get anything done.........well?????

Yes, I am in sour grapes mode since 2003.

Take your best shot because I don't give a s$$t.

Why can't they add a 29 or 30 yard line at Sparta for the Grand. I'm not talking about adding yardage to all the traps just 1 bank. Now a guy or gal who breaks a 98 on the first day of Grand from the 27 stays there. Move em back just for the Grand. Put the bank out front of the vendors. It would give the sport a way to highlight your best shooters. This would be a place of honor to shoot. I could see myself walking to that bank to see which shooters are shooting from the 29 or 30. "Let's go see if any, or which big dog has made it to the 30 yet." It would give the shell people and gun people a way to promote their products also. "Tony Trapshooter, shot our shells and was the first to make it to the 30. Now if Tony is shooting our shells from the 30 shouldn't you be using our shells?".

After the Grand they go back to the 27.

Flame away and tell why it can't be done.

Bisi, no one can flame you for that idea! It sounds good to me too but I'd add this to your idea.

    1/2 yard for a 96

    1 yard for a 97-98

    1-1/2 yards for a 99

    2-1/2 for a 100

Who would be first in the race to make it to the 30?

    Hap
