1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    F/S Winchester M-42

I had this built by a well known 42 builder in California years ago for sporting clays. Mechanically as new nice and tight, 3inch chamber, 26" barrel full choke. Thier is a one inch piece that can be added for length. A fun gun to shoot.

    $1800.00 shipping included

    PM for larger close ups

Wishbone : Yes the butt plate I took off to add the wood piece for length. I doubt if this is a factory rib, or stock but I do not know. I bought it for a shooter and it shoots very well but it is not a collector. If you want a model 42 to shoot this is as good as it gets as the action, rib and stock are as new. The action is in tune, I shot probably 1000 rounds of sporting clays with it with no problem except for short shucking which was my problem not the guns.

If the butt plate is like a Model 12 it will be curved. I no longer have any of my 42s so I can't check. The rear of your stock is straight where the wood was added.

Claybrdr : I added the wood, it is just screwed on as the plate was. Their is no curve. As I said it is a builders gun so probably the only thing factory is the original iron.

15 inch with spacer. It is $1800.00 I will cover the shipping to make it the reasonable offer.
