1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I bought this gun new in the fall of 2008 and shot it only to sight it in with 185-grain factory target loads. These guns come pretty well "loaded" with the goodies most guys hang on their 1911s sooner or later - stippled frontstrap, backstrap and bottom of trigger guard, beavertail grip safety, ambidextrious thumb safety, skeletonized hammer and trigger, adjustable trigger overtravel stop, Heinie "straight-eight" two-dot sights, elongated ejection port, polished feed ramp, two magazines with bumpers and front and rear finger grooves on the slide.

The triggers on these guns are pretty hateful out of the box (six+ pounds), so this one was worked on by a licensed gunsmith and now lets off at 3.5 pounds. While it was apart, I had the sides of the grip safety, hammer and trigger and the portion of the barrel visible through the ejection port jeweled. The gun comes with its box, manual, tools (unopened), both magazines, two sets of grip panels - the factory black plastic ones and a set of smooth rosewood panels - plus the documentation for the trigger work and jeweling.

They sell new for right around $650 plus tax and shipping (if applicable). I never developed the interest in target shooting with a .45 that I thought I might, so I'm selling this one for $550 complete, including USPS Priority Mail shipping to the "lower 48."

If there are any other views of the gun you need to see, I will take more photos for interested parties. The gun shoots very well - I bought it because our son has one and I was impressed with his.
