1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I am selling my 77/44 Stainless Camo. This is the only one of these I have ever seen.

Bought new, shot at range about 100 rounds. It will push a 250 gr bullet at 1800 fps, making it a sleeper in the woods.

    $625 shipped.

230 grains will produce a substantial recoil. I loaded that velocity for my 44 Carbine auto some years back and it was tolerable given the fact it was an auto.

Really does a number on whitetail. Use the XTP bullet for best perfoemance.

I have a few 250 gr Nosler Partitions I have been squirreling away for this rifle.

Had I not been seduced into an expensive project, it would not be for sale.

Recoil is a little less than a 30/30. 50 yards and under? It is HELL ON WHEELS on deer sized (maybe larger) game.

Remington makes a 270 gr load that will harvest surprisingly large critters.

Meet expensive project. Lucky for me I load 308 and have a ton of components, brass and such for it.

IT KICKS, but is hell on our 200 yd steel plate. I do not see the need for a scope for what it is. (an ACCURATE Mini 30 bolt action with POWER)

Yeah, but you can't chamber 308 in your sixgun.

You're violating the rules here, coach.

Folks don't appreciate how unbelievably efficient the 44 Mag really is in a rifle length barrel.

These guns, with the right bullets, will drop most anything at close range.

One can push a 300 gr bullet at near 1600 fps in a Carbine with Alliant 300MP. This gives a Power Factor of 480. A 30/06 with a 180 gr bullet at 2700 fps gives a Power Factor of 486. The 30/30 with a 150 gr bullet at a real world 2000+ fps gives a Power Factor of 300.

Nobody is saying the 44 will equal the Ought Six, but up close? The 44 is a game harvesting machine, and is fun to shoot with light loaded ammo.

It weighs next to nothing on a sling.
