1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Remington 3200 One of 1,000~~~ONE of a KIND~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    This ONE of 1,000 Remington Model 3200 was manufactured in 1973...the first and only year of production. The 1,000 produced were all 30" O/U TRAP MODELS. They retailed for $1,050 at that time...about twice what the regular production models sold for. Besides the engraving and gold lettering, One of 1,000 models can with upgraded Remington wood, but nothing like what you see on this gun.
    I acquired this gun with the CUSTOM WOOD and it feels and shoots even better than it LQQKs!!!
    The gun is in fantastic condition. I could not determine if it had been fired, so I shot two rounds of trap with it a couple weeks ago. Just about everyone that saw the gun wanted to shoulder it, shoot it or BUY IT...it's that nice.
    This is the kind of gun that belongs in Bill Grill's Man Cave...a little something for the Grandson! The wood rivals anything I've seen. I'm going to offer it for sale over this holiday season for $2495 shipped to your FFL. After the holidays it's going to go back in my safe...so if you're looking for something really special, here it is.
    Has it had the upgrades, doesn't appear that it has.
    Good Question, Gary.
    I think you will find that the 1-of-1000 series was also produced
    <br>in a Skeet model in 1974.
    Joe, Thank you for the compliment. I have a pair of 3200's 1 of 1000's. One gun is trap model one gun is skeet model with matching serial numbers. So what year did they build them? By the way very nice gun! Regards, Bill
    Bill,
    If they are both One of 1000 models, the TRAP gun was manufactured in 1973 and the SKEET gun was manufactured in 1974. The serial numbers begin with a T or S, look for a DOT (.) between the letter and the numbers which indicates the upgrades have been completed. Your collection is still the envy of TS.com, thanks for posting pictures!
    Bart,
    Please post pictures of your hard case!
    Answers to PMs:
    Barrels are OEM .730 bore. Top barrel constriction is fixed .040 (FULL). Bottom barrel constriction is fixed .030 (ImpMod)...OEM Mechanical Trigger is PULL/PULL...Barrel selector/safety lever located on top tang. The stock was obviously made for a right hand shooter with cast off, toe out, raised cheek comb and a pronounced PALM SWELL. It weighs a very comfortable 8 1/2 pounds and points like a laser.
    Who made the aftermarket wood?
    I had a few of those and they never looked like that
    Do you have the original stock set?
    I've seen factory 3200 wood with better/more exotic figure, but I've rarely seen a set of wood that is matched as well as this one--even on 10k+ guns. The grain lines seem to flow through the reciever and pick up where they left off in perfect alignment. So good it made me wonder for a tic or two if it wasn't painted.
    A really nice one. I keep looking at it tempted--but remember I have two at home already.
    Beautiful gun at a decent price. I'd rather pay-up for a K-80. Hope it finds a good home.
