1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I think what duck was referring to was the hard rubber grip cap that most 2 pins had. Your pictures are of
1950's style steel [middle] Y model 1970's and
1963 to 1964 3 pin grip cap. It all depends on matching the serial number range of your 2 pin model 12.

    I hope this helps, Dick

Thanks Dick---SR # is 1789xxx---1958 vintage---That fits your explanation---It then means gun is all orig except pad----Hope duck is tuned in---It's a shame when people post statements that they can't back up---Unless futher proof of an unorig cap,I'll stick to my discription---George

    George,

Just a little more information. The three 1950's era 2pin model 12's that I have, all came with hard rubber grip caps and the stocks were all factory key cut under the grips to keep them straight.

George you need to do more research on your grip caps and originality of your guns.
