1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

SOLD FOR SALE OR TRADE- I WILL CONSIDER TRADE UP OR DOWN FOR PERAZZI, BERETTA, KOLAR,KRIEGHOFF, BLAZER OR SIMILAR HIGH QUALITY GUNS, NO AUTOMATICS PLEASE A beautiful Bill Cole Single Barrel Trap Gun s/n #19. I TOOK THIS GUN OUT AND SHOT IT TODAY AND ALSO LOOKED UP WHAT I HAD DONE TO IT. THE STEEL WAS POLISHED, THE BARREL RE-BLUED, THE GOLD HIGHLIGHTS RE DONE AND NEW BRILEY CHOKES INSTALLED. THE GUN IS A GEM, I MUST BE NUTS TO SELL IT. This 34" barrel trap gun is in beautiful condition. It was recently serviced by Phillips Gunsmithing including repolishing the receiver and any required servicing done by Phillip. The sale includes the release trigger parts, case (your choice of the blue Beretta case or the blue hard side shown in the photos), Briley chokes Full and Modified. Barrel measures .747". The wood is in beautiful condition (except for small mark on forend as shown in the last photo)with built in recoil system. LOP is 14 1/2"with the pad as shown. LOP maybe increased or decreased by changing out the pad. Four way comb system is incorported with the recoil system. The gun is tight and locks up like a clam. Selling because I recently bought a Bowen SBT and somethng needs to go to pay for that excess on my part. Price is $4,950 plus shipping to your FFL from my zip 95661. The entire package weighs about 24 pounds. Call me at 916-780-7501 Home, 916-677-2030 work or cell at 916-837-6899 or PM or email to doug@citadel-usa.com.
    Thanks,

In answer to gshooter above there is no noticable cast to the stock. It looks to be absolutely neutral.

I was asked about the gun weight. I get a weight of 9.2 pounds on a home scale which I think is close.

I hope you keep the Cole!! I have one and it is resting right now, decided to keep it unless I need to sell it. I am planning to shoot a somewhat lighter gun when I have time to return to trapline. Had shoulder surgery, ready to go back and shoot after six months, then truck got stolen, so diverted shopping again and dealing with insurance and trying to find funds to pay for a 5.5 year newer truck! "It's only money"....yeah, right.

Nice to see Cole's continue to be appreciated.

By the way, Bill Cole himself told me that ALL Bill Cole trapguns were delivered originally with an Americase Case with a Bill Cole logo inside.

See also Shotgun Sports, October, 2009, which has an article about the Bill Cole Shotgun by Phil Ross.
