Soft Comb

    I am tring to find out if a rubber comb top is available for a Beretta 682 Gold E. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Mike Freeman.

    You're probably not going to find anything. Trapdude makes rubber combs, but nothing that will be compatiable with the "memory" style hardware.

    You might be able to have a soft comb made, but that type of hardware typically prevents that as well. You might end up needing to have that hardware removed, the wood filled, and having aftermarket adjustable comb hardware installed before you'll be able to do anything.

    The replacement hardware did away with the memory system.It has the two post system now.Thanks for the information. Mike

    You still have a very large hollow cavity in the comb piece, which is filled by the replacement hardware. This cavity leaves little room for any padding in a soft comb. You aren't going to find anything remotely close to drop-in.
