I make leather shotgun cases - can make it custom to fit any specific dimensions. I generally use 5-6 oz latigo leather which is great for any outdoor sporting uses. They are fleece lined with real sheep fleace not the imitation stuff. All the fittings are solid brass.

send me a e-mail address and I will be glad to send a picture.

I use a Boyt break down case for my Caeser Guerini trap. I would like to see the leather case. It could be nice.

I bought one of these a while back, and it is very nice quality! All suede-lined and thickly padded for protection. Lots of pouches for accessories and spare shells too. .....Rick

I had RMR send me some photo's of his gun case. I like it alot so I put in a order. It will take 4 weeks + to make but I think it will be worth it. I'll post some pic's when I get the case.

This case is about 1 year old ( it's a case for my 11 yr old daughters trap

gun) - so it has a few wear marks on it. They are made from 6 oz ( almost

1/8" thick so its stout leather) Latigo leather ( latigo leather has

waxes/oil put back into the leather after the tanning process to make it

more supple) - in my opinion it's a great leather for outdoor products like

tack, gun cases..... There is a satin pine tar/bees wax finish on it. If the

finish gets marred- all you need to do is rub some leather conditioner back

on and it will look almost new. However if someone wants a gloss finish that

can be created. Latigo comes in burgundy or black. This case was a burgundy

leather that I added a brown leather oil dye to in order to get the

chocolate color. The thread can be any color- I like the contrasting off

white on the dark leather- some guys don't want the thread color to stick

out so much and in those cases I will use a brown thread. The inner lining

is 100% sheep wool ( not imitation) - its about 1" thick and runs the full

length of the case. All hardware is solid brass that will develop a nice

    patina as it ages.

I recently found a source of American Bison Leather in Wyoming that looks

great and is very reasonable priced that can be used instead of Latigo cow

hide. In the past its been hard to find bison that wasn't 2-3X the cost of

cow hide- you can see their web site at www.northamerican bisoncompany.com

    I am currently charging $385 a case + shipping

As I stated in a previous e-mail- I do this as a hobby / way to relax after

the rest of the family has gone to bed - and to help offset my 2 daughters

shooting costs. My real job is a veterinary surgeon. I take great pride in

my work- only do one case at a time. I have always stood behind my work and

if someone isn't happy with it after receiving the case- they can send it

back and a full 100% refund - no questions asked- is my policy. To that end

    - Im not a production type - generally I can get a case done and in the mail

in a 4-8 week time frame. If someone needs a case right now- Im not your

guy. I have been very protective to keep this enjoyable and not another

stress in my life. So anyone ordering a case- I just ask you to be patient

Any other questions- please feel free to call me at 214-547-0777 after 6pm

    central time

    Thanks
