I saw several thousand this morning while driving on Interstate 35. The geese were just south of the Iowa border.......headed south.

Saw a big flock tonight on way home from work. About 35 miles SW of Des Moines. They seemed to be headed west.

Tom, do you still have a lot of snow your way? Gone here around Iowa City.

just where the drifts were 3+ feet. most of the snow in the fields is gone.

From snow to mud in a real short time. just gotta love the rock roads of IA. For about a month or so I'll wish we lived in town or atleast on pavement.

My wife called last night, driving through Iowa to watch our daughter play in the NAIA BB tournament and told me the fields were white with snows all across the state. Go Tennessee Wesleyan Lady Bulldogs!

Just came back from NW Missouri (Squaw Creek Refuge)13 guys killed about 75 birds in 2.5 days. Seen lots of birds, they just wouldn't come down into shot gun range. Fields were very muddy.

West Central, MN. lost 18 inchs of snow, still have about 16 inches to go. A few high hills in fields are starting to bare, but nothing to hold birds. Raining steady now for a couple of days, may be good in 10 to 12 days.

There are a few honkers on corn piles in towns at the elevators! lol. They are not to dumb!
