SLIP2000 Gas Piston Parts and Choke Tube Cleaner?

    Does this stuff work as well as advertised? I have a 391 and if it does work like they say it would save me a lot of time and scrubbing. Your comments please.

    Yes and no. It doesn't work for me in 10 minutes. I leave them in over-night and it works great.

    I never had success with Brake/Carburetor cleaner; but even if I did, I would use the Slip 2000. I can use Slip 2000 indoors. I can't do that with Brake/Carburetor cleaner.

    My experience is that it works great on choke tubes, but not worth a darn on my 390's gas piston. I do better using a pipe cleaning brush like you get at Home Depot together with the Dremel tool. Can't say how it works for 391 gas parts.

    You might consider using mineral spirits.
