A friend of mine has asked me to build a skeet field and I have seen on here the directions/measurements and did not find them with a search. Where can I find the field layout? Thanks for your help. Oh and I told him he would have to make it a multipurpose field by adding trap. Jackie B.

    Call the NSSA 210 688 3371

The plans include everything and if I remember correctly they are $30.00.

Hint- If you overlay a trapfield do it in sugh a manner that the skeet target does not fly over the trap house.

Put your skeet walk on either the 16 yard or the 27 yard line.

Reason: Any slight breeze will make the targets dance as they pass over the trap house.

    Yes, we did it wrong.

what about a shot drop field layout? we shoot off of a hill, onto the woods below. there is tons of unreclaimable shot down there! what is the name of that field in italy with the giant berms that collect the shot? that's the way to go.

    Jack,

Sorry! I discovered that somebody has been jerking around with the web site I linked you to so the link no longer points where it used to.

Copy and paste the web address I posted into a Google search box. The first return will be in bold type. Click on the word "cached" (in blue, near the end of the entry) and you will be taken to the original page I linked you to as it still exists in Google's cache. The three skeet entries are about 2/3 of the way down the page and all the links work.

There is also a diagram of a skeet range overlayed on a trap field.
