Singles Marathon, Mt. Morris Sportsman's Club

    Singles Marathon, Mt. Morris Sportsman

    Mt. Morris Sportsman's Club, 2887 Swanson Road, Mt. Morris, New York will be having their annual 500 bird Singles Marathon on Saturday, May 8, 2010.

    From 100 to 500 registered targets can be shot. All orange white flyer targets will be thrown off of Pat-Traps at a cost of $20.00 per hundred plus ATA and NYSATA fees.

    Entries open at 8:00 a.m. and shooting will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

    Mt. Morris Sportsman's Club is located approximately 35 miles south of Rochester, New York with easy access off of Interstate I-390.

    If anyone has any questions or need directions to the Club, you can call Thursday night to the Club phone at 585-658-4519 or contact me by E-Mail or on my cell phone at 585-519-9543.

    Saturday was wet and windy. Twenty shooters competed and the Club threw 3,800 targets.

    Andy Baker was top dog with a 476 x 500 and Clair Lawson took second with a 469 x 500. They were the only brave souls who shot all 500 targets.

    Thank you to all who attended. Hope to see you all on Memorial Day Weekend.
