Singles is essentially a game of mental discipline, being a basically lazy guy I'm not too good at singles.

Handicap is essentially a game of correct technique, being a basically sloppy guy I'm not too good at HNCP either.

Doubles?......lazy & sloppy don't matter----you just stand out there, the gun goes "bang bang" the targets break and life is FUN.......I like doubles

Your right. Except I'm better at handicap.

Good doubles score takes a little more than "bang, bang". Get real.

Bill- No real good answer to your question. I have seen all of the combinations you mentioned. I have even seen a shooter accurately classified as D-27-D.

Yeah, Pat's right and especially with the middle of the road shooter where his class and yardage may be all over the map. I haven't seen Pat's D-27-D but don't doubt it for a second....Bob Dodd

Pat, how about D27AA. Yes I use to shoot with him back in the 70's. He was accurately classed.

I'm mental, undisciplined, and hardly ever correct. I guess there is no hope for me.

Bob- The D-27-D is fairly simple. A very good shooter quit shooting handicap because of progressively deteriorating eye sight. He still does his best at singles and doubles. His last handicap target was shot in 1999.
