Is the singles classification and what is posted as the singles average on shootata.com based on the last 1000 targets or over the entire shooting year through September - August?

If it is in the rulebook, I missed it with my poor speed reading skills.

In PITA your Singles average is based on the last 1000 targets shot and this can carry over from the previous target year. In PITA your Doubles average is based on the last 800 Doubles targets shot.

Why is it that they only use the last 1000 if it is higher than your total year average.

The average is over the entire year but when you classify they look at the last 10 scores or more.
