I am having trouble removing the iron from the forearm on my Silver Seitz. Anyone ever take one apart? I am trying to install a new forearm weight. I have removed the plunger and the two allen screws that hold the iron, just can't get it apart from the wood. What's the trick? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Carmen

The plunger fits inside an allen screw fitting. Insert an allen wrench where the plunger came out. I don't remember the size right now, but just keep trying until one fit right. Then just unscrew as a normal bolt/srcew.

3/16 allen will remove the 1/4-28 bolt installed in the front of the iron under the plunger. The bolt is drilled to allow the plunger to slide through it but can still be removed with said allen wrench. Phil Simms
