Does anybody know how Jim Kelly is doing with the fire? It appears from the incident reports that it is or was within spitting distance from his home.

Jim & Mary Ann are up in Wash. just now

I plan to try and get to his place or at least get info. and relay same to him today.

Hwy 92 is still closed and that Area is still closed.

As you may know All the Ranges in Cochise County are closed, to include the Fort.

Tell them I am thinking of them and hoping everything goes well. I am in Nebraska and don't get much AZ news.

Thanks, I try and shoot with Jim whenever he is here(Washington) but have missed him last couple of years because of health reasons. Hope his place is ok.

    All,
Don't know status of Jim's house. It was in a potential area where some fire ran. All depends upon how close and how strong the fire was in his VERY local area. You can areas where only a single house was destroyed and others surrounding the house were undamaged.

Should have general access by the end of the week. We'll all know then.

I talked with a local that lives a short distance (1/4 mile) from Jim's. He told me that the fire skirted around the High Road area, He just went home yesterday. It sounds like Jim was spared. The Nicksville buisness district burned badly. Mike
