Or just go to Drudge Report.

"The bill passed 26-10 in the Senate and 105-44 in the House. Both were bipartisan votes."

Guess they are going after legal gun owners one state at a time, glad to live in Texas, but I'm worried about all the people migrating here that will bring the same BS they left their home state for and we will end up just like them

Worse case scenario...What's next? Round up all the mentally impaired and execute them? Why not? What will stop them?

Will this serve to avenge or are they thirsty for more?

What about N. Korea? What about the rest of our Nation's children?

How do we know Adam Lanza wasn't part of an even more sinister plot to kill the USA? The reports aren't even out yet. WAS ADAM LANZA A ONE OF A KIND MADMAN KILLER OR IS HE PART OF A LINE OF MASS PRODUCED KILLERS???????

Is this (the new legislation), the result of severely traumatized politicians who in their grief are not seeing straight?? If they are not seeing straight what else will they do and who will stop them?

Manufacturers are leaving CT as well as others... Mass migration. There go property values, jobs, friends and neighbors....and you're right, there go the instigators to another state as well. The children died and now more lives suffer....

What of the children who died in the birthing of our Nation and from then on?
    All for naught?

Is this why N. Korea is saying the USA people are cooked soft pumpkin heads and it's time for them to attack our mainland?

*Now, the blades of grass are all mown neat and clean fertilized and everyone keeps off the grass.

Is this the message we want to send to our enemies?

And what is said for the children who die everyday in hospitals of diseases? HOW MANY CHILDREN DIE DAILY OF DISEASE IN THE US? DOES ANYONE SHED A TEAR FOR THEM?????? The parents cope silently and without the tears or prayers of the multitudes. Would not all this energy and money to disarm America be better spent buying medicines for those who can't afford it or put towards finding cures? Would that not have been a better, sweeter memory for the families of the children lost and a greater historical tribute than the anger, fury and angst, loss of property rights, dislocation and upset over lost Freedom and theft of God given rights?

    What's wrong with America?

    * this reference is in regard to WWII, the reason the Japanese did not invade the US mainland was because they believed that behind every blade of grass was a person with a gun. Don't have the exact quote handy but someone here does.

Now, CT, guns without ammo? If ADAM LANZA was one, of a line of produced mass killers what do we do to stop them? DISARM??? Arm with unloaded guns????

And if Adam Lanza was a one of the kind killer? Why are all shooters held now to account?

    Rick Barker,

Diana DeGette; After reading and listening to her comments this morning. I have to say that I feel sorry for you and all the other responsible gun owners and patriots located in Colorado. THAT WOMAN HAS JUST PROVEN THAT SHE IS THE STUPIDEST PIE HOLE IN COLORADO!!! She is way more dangerous with her pen than you are with your gun! Anyone that would advocate the advantage to a criminal while disarming a senior citizen should be rightfully considered as an accomplice to any crime committed with a firearm. Time for a REVOLT?? The voting booth has the ammunition.

    Chuck

From what I've heard, the bill has not been completely written yet. You'll have to wait to see what's in it....in the end.

Meanwhile ammo is very hard to find if at all Cabela's, Dicks. WalMart. Empty shelves are the new norm as dealers try to make their sales figures and pay the help without several key, never out, items.

Amazing, were the travel arrangements made before all the 'other arrangements'?

O himself will probably finish writing the bill himself.

I can see it now in Ct. You will have to sell with gun with ammo to get rid off it. No ammo no gun sale.

Gun inventories are low as well. How long can stores go without key merchandise that sells?

Try living in Hawaii talk about crap, no high capacity mags noassault pistols whatever the hell they are, no fmj no tracers, no kind of carry at all they laugh at the police dept. when you ask they don't even keep the form anymore. No sbr forget automatic weapons, get caught with a firearm in your car anyplace but from your home or the range or police dept or hunting area you are screwed no stopping anywhere along the way for any reason. it"s a felony. 14 day waiting period not counting the usual week and a half bureaucratic delay, pay for fingerprints photo, backgound check. powder 40 bucks a pound ammo, well bring your big checkbook. And they are talking about re registration again. That means once a year you have to take all your guns to the police station and re register them again every year. If someone in your home fails the background check the have to move out or you have 30 days to turn in all your guns. Don't let them do this s--t to your state. Born here when it was a territory lived here over half a century I;ll be leaving soon. Maybe Texas
