Show you my 1100 Rib

    Thought I'd post a picture of my High rib on my 1100! Made from 6061 aluminium I made it so it fit over the stock rib like a keway and is held on with 6-32 button heads. The top of it is blacked out for glare, left the side brite for looks. Did not want it to look like those delrin ribs. I guess there are benifits to owning a tool & die shop !!!!!

    That rib looks great! Is that a Jack West stock on your 1100? I'm going to get one this summer, I think, for my 870. Nice work!

    Yes it's a Jack West Carbon Fibre look stock set.

    Yes I programmed it in our CAM software and machined it on one of our Fadal 4020 VMC's, one of those Saturday projects.

    I machined this one straight so it did no move POI.

    Had not really thought about making them for money, but I would do them on a custom basis only if I did.

    Chip..If your thinking of making more.. I would also pay you to make one for a 870 project I'm working on..(36" flat rib Barrel, Same stock as yours)
