Trying to get my shotmaker going I can get it to make shot but most of them have a dimple in them . I've tried diferent angles and heights and it only makes worse shot . I am using a homemade dripper since I didn't get any with my Littleton , hopefully they will get them to me soon . I drilled it .040 and it is making about #5,s . Any ideas on the dimples ?

I will first have to say its to hot. Do you have a temp control on your unit? You need to turn the heat down. To hot and pure lead will do that.

How far is the shot falling before entering your coolant? Move it up to 1/4 inch.
Also try a different coolant, try Hyd. Oil 20w - just make a small batch in a pan and see what it looks like.
