shotgun with one bead....can it be used for skeet

    can a gun with only one bead be used to shoot skeet or will I be handicaped. also if I buy a gun with one bead can a center bead be added.

    You will not be under any handicap. A center bead can be added at any time by a competent gunsmith. The center bead helps me avoid canting the gun but that's about it. Once I call for the target, I'm not looking at beads.

    Most of my shotguns only have on bead. I shoot them for skeet, sporting, and trap. You don't need no stinking mid-bead.

    A lot of very good skeet shooters I know shoot only with the mid bead and no front bead. They consistantly break 25

    Inorder to be allowed on the skeet field you will need two beads or a pink tutu. HMB

    HMB: They told me you had to have pink beads ON your tu-tu!!!!!

    you'll be fine - skeet targets are close enough to touch in many presentations. May I ask what gun you are considering?

    You don't need any beads to brake skeet targets.

    Its all about gun fit.....beads are irrelevant...

    ...you actually don't need beads to break Trap tawgets either...
