I have been calling Shotgun Specialties for some time now. They make a voice release system for trap shooting. Left messages and now their mail box is full. Does anyone here know what is going on with them? Are they still in business or not?

They may be going to the Indiana State Shoot at Fortville, Indiana. It started on July 6, 2010.

Auctioneer, did you make a deal with them? I have had a similar problem, no response to calls, PM's or emails. I believe this is their way of backing out of a gun deal.

Well I see that they left you an email but for what ever reason they don't think to leave me one. I guess my money is no good.

Are they good to deal with??I've seen several guns here that they've listed.I heard one fella sort of run down someone from Florida,he didn't actually same a name, just that you have to watch them. Not trying to start anything, but apparently some Florida guys,as stated from this person, you should be leary of dealing with.Father of a Pa. state champion that goes to Penn state and shoots well,I should of asked who he was talking about and what went wrong in his opinion..I'm New to sport,so I'm cautious of long distance deals.Shooting a Citori Sorting Clay Special edition, but looking for a deal on a good trp gun.

Doug, Shotgun Specialties is located in Ohio, and travel to many shoots. I have had several dealings with them, and recommend them highly.

I had wonderful dealings with Doug at the PA state shoot in 2009 and he followed up with my subsequent questions promtly. He was fair and honest, and took time to make me feel comfortable. I saw SS again at the Pa shoot in 2010 and all was well. I can say my dealings are A-OK!

Thx,I'll consider them as someone to talk to when the time and moneys right.I know they had a luitic recently listed that had me drooling over it.As per some posts on here, they reccomend shooting a gun first besides checking it out,How does that work when it's over the internet sale.

bought several guns from them. they stand behind what they say and what they sell. They treat you fair and honest and would do business with them anytime. They do travel a bunch and may not be near a computer to answer your questions so cut them a little slack. motordoc
