Shotgun Rib Beads

    Is it important that both beads line up like a figure 8, or can there be some exposed rib between the two beads? When raising the comb the bead separation occurs and I assume this makes the gun shoot higher. If you don't have an adjustable rib you can't bring the beads back to the figure look.

    The ljutic mono gun manual said to maintain a 1/4 gap between the beads...You can over-think it. Some demand stacked beads, some black them out. Does it shot where you need it to - that's more important. Make note of the arrangement of the beads at the point you smoke them best and shot it. It's a horse apiece. I'm gonna take my center bead out, it's a distraction and I have an adjustable rib.
