Shotgun Hulls

    Could anyone out there tell me the difference in unibody,plastic wad base and compression formed hulls. How do you tell them apart? thanks Mike K.

    uni-usually means one as in all one piece, plastic base wad means plastic base formed onto/into main hull,2 seperate pieces.

    Commpression formed is also a one piece hull, no base wad.

    Get Lyman's 5th Edition Shotshell Reloading Handbook. I think Cabelas and/or Gamaliel has them.
