thanks to the many that have bought my shot sorting pans. I have stated that they do NOT sort by size. Anything size 7 and smaller will go through. They work better than wire to sort the shot the first time because of the flat areas that tend to catch the out of rounds.

So after the many requests i did find wire mesh that will sort 9s 8s 7 1/2 by size this is not cheap but if i have enough emails i can order a roll of each size and cut to size. I would need at least 100 orders to make it work. The cost would be $30 shipped for the 3 sizes of wire, at this point they would be 12in x12in . If you want to buy on your own then go to McMaster Carr's web and you can get it there but cost will be much more for the small order.
Hope this will help. Good shot making rick

I would be interested in a screen that would let smaller than 7 1/2 go through. Also am interested in the first screen you mentioned. I contacted you previously about it, but your response got away from me. If it isn't too much trouble could you send it to me again? Thanks

Buy your mesh direct from the source.....

Here is the link for McMaster Carr

Go to the website and then to catalog page 387.

I have been using this for some time with great success in my rotary sifter.

    8 x 8 0.035" 0.090" 51.8% 9219T159 5.11 9.71 18.40 39.09 49.06 61.32 9219T89ยบ 5.11 4.09

    8 x 8 0.032" 0.093" 55.4% 9219T171 3.19 6.06 11.48 24.40 30.62 38.28 9219T51 3.19 2.55

    8 x 8 0.028" 0.097" 60.2% 9219T172 3.35 6.37 12.06 25.63 32

The 8 X 8 means 8 mesh or 8 holes per linear inch. 64 holes per square inch. The wire diameter determines the hole size. There are still 8 holes per inch but by increasing or decreasing the wire diameter, you change the hole size. These are the three I have used with great success. .097,.093 and .090 hole size.
