Well two weeks ago I shot my first 100 straight. So I figured it was time to start shooting registered targets. Well last week I shot my first 100 registered targets in some high wind and ended with a 91. I was kind of bummed about it. Well today I went back to shoot another 100 registered targets and I broke them all. My first 100 straight ATA targets. I only took 100 shells otherwise I would have tried for 200. Oh well! There is always next time!

I started about 3.5 years ago. I shoot my first 25 straight in about a month after I started. It took me about three years to shoot my first 50 straight, actually I just did it about 3 months ago. Since then I have shot (4) more 50s and two 100's.Wish I had more shells because I felt like I could have shot 200 without any problem.

Well done there CC, now I'll bet you also entered what is known as 'the zone'.

Kind of like a drug the zone is - you will spend a lot of time and money looking for ways to get back into the zone. (and you will get there)

    Keep up the good work!

Cheating. I'll bet all 100 were broken on the same trap-the Bucks County way!!

Cheating? That's funny, thanks Oleo for the recognition. May not be a accomplishment to you but it was for me.

    Coyote,
Yes he CG is great, it was my 2nd 100 in two weeks, the first one was in a non registered summer league shoot.

heck junior Catching Chrome, my first Registered 100 was broken at the long gone Blandon Gun Club in Berks County around 1974. I didn't cheat as I shot over 4 traps with a full squad, a real puller (4 of 'em) and used an 1100 no less. It made it through the entire 100 without breaking down too. Seems like yesterday!!

Well I shot my first 100 2 weeks ago at another club that only had two traps and I shot 50 at each. I wouldn't call shooting 100 straight off one trap cheating, epecially if they only have one trap open. I'll shoot any trap or position, because I am not one of those guys that needs to start on a post or have a favorite trap. I figure you have to be able to shoot all posts and any trap to be good. I just tried to do my best with what was presented to me.
