shot making question

    what size screen do you use to separate your shot 7 1/2 from 8 ect. And were to buy it. thanks John

    John,

    I use a perforated pizza pan over a 5 gal bucket to screen the shot to #8. The holes are .094 (3/32 drill bit) which is large enough for #8 shot to pass through but will stop the 7 &1/2 shot (.095).

    You might get lucky and find a pan with the right sized holes. I use a perforated pan with .110 holes to screen the odd ball shot on a first pass.

    John: you mention 3/32 inch drill. Is that how you made yours? Good God I cannot imagine the patience and time it took. Wouldn't it have been easier to find someone that does CNC work?

    5 gal pail with over 5000 holes in it. mutch faster then a pan.
