    Fellow Shotmakers,

Which have you found to make the biggest difference in roundness of your shot:

angle of the ramp or the density of the coolant?

How many of you are using straight Low Tox antifreeze and how many are adding

soap? or DOT 3 brake fluid?

We started out using straight low tox, but found we were getting tear drops and dimples. So we added some liquid laundry detergent and the shot comes out a little out of round but no more tear drops or dimples. We haven't bothered moving the angle around; figure if it was built that way, it must be right. We found our shot works just as good at the 27 as it does at the 16. Hope this helps, Josh.

hyd. fluid is what I have the best luck with. makes great shot, and as long as the drop distance is right ( from drippers to fluid), I have not had dimples.
