    Shot "Bargin", you ain

So I walked into the local (30 miles away) Gander Mountain and was looking for some 20/28 and ProReach powder. While I'm waiting for someone to wait on me (there were 5 people waiting on one guy, I don't know what in the hell he was buying but it must have been an big sale)so I started looking around. Somehow I always end up in the reloading section of any store I go into. And right in front of me was Lawrence Magnum shot, 25# bags, for $37.95. There were two bags on the shelf, so I picked them up and asked if they had any more in the back as I was in for 30 bags if they had it. "Nope", only two bags we have" I was told. "Will you be ordering more" was my question. "I don't know" was the answer. OK, now I realize this isn't a killer price on shot but I thought it was great for a store that wanted $51.95 for 1000 WW209's.

Sounds like they are building losses to offset taxable profits for tax time at years end...

My local Sportsman's Warehouse is trying to get $48.95 + tax for a bag o' shot. Glad I bought a half ton for $34.00/bag a while back. I'll buy a ton next year.

Where did you find shot for $11.00/bag? New? Reclaimed?

SSSSHHHHHH, I have been quietly buying shot there all summer. Lawrence Brand Magnum 7 1/2's for $37.95 a 25lb. bag is correct. They won't special order it for you but they get 4 bags at a time when they sell out. First one there wins I guess. Everything else in the store is way more than anyone else, except when they have shotgun shells on sale.
